Camden and I have known each other years prior our engagement. We attended the same school since Pre-Kindergarten and we always hung around in different crowds from each other. We would talk from time to time but it wasn’t until I reached out to him in middle school to ask him to go with me to the 8th grade Prom. THAT WAS A FAIL. I just decided to go alone with some friends and thought nothing of it. We still stayed really good friends and would continue to see each other at school and talk occasionally on the phone.

How We Met

We continued to talk on social media platforms and we started to talk more once we started high school together. We would share the same lunch period and eat together. We soon realized that we started being more attracted to each other but would never take action. We then just continued to be friends and spoke on occasion.  Later onto our Junior year of high school, Camden soon asked me to come meet his family. {Initially we were just supposed to be a “fling”😂 but you know how that goes.}  Anyways, Camden and I both decided since we’ve been friends for so long to give it a shot and we started dating November of 2020. •NOVEMBER 16, 2020•

Let’s Explore More

Our first date was out to eat with my parents so that he could meet my them. It was my initial thought since my parents are so close to me, Camden agreed and we all had a great night. My family and Camden hit it off right at the beginning. It wasn’t until around Thanksgiving of 2020 that he invited me over to meet his family and spend some time with them. Like always, I hit it off with his family and they already knew that we would all have a great relationship.

The First Date

•September 20, 2025• Right off the bat, this threw me into a spiral. My family and us had a great day on the beach for my 22nd birthday, we had planned on eating dinner at home and Camden already had some more surprises for me back at the house. Later on his family had shown up at our AirBnB to celebrate the night with us. We were all enjoying the night, eating and celebrating the day we had and all of the sudden Camden asks me to go on a drive with him, which at this point it was 11pm and he knew I wanted to go walking on the pier after dinner. So we go to the pier and we’re just listening to the water and just talking. He starts talking about certain topics which are very “emotional” -which he doesn’t do often- and then my family and his family shows up on the pier. We’re all just looking at the water and he then asked me to marry him. Immediately, I start crying and very little words come out my mouth but a very emotional “yes”. WHEN I TELL YALL I HAVE WAITED FOR 5 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT😭 He really outdid himself and I’m so grateful I get to call him my fiancé and I can’t wait to marry him❤️

Gatlinburg, Tennessee📍  As for both of us, we’ve never been to Tennessee but we have such a love for the peaceful mountain air. We’ve always wanted to go to Gatlinburg to enjoy the scenery along with enjoy each other’s company in our favorite place. The mountains have always felt like a home away from home for us.
