Transportation

Pisa International Airport (PSA) is the busiest international airport in the region. If arriving at Pisa, there are multiple ways to get to Florence. The<a href=" https://www.visittuscany.com/en/ideas/from-pisa-airport-to-pisa-centrale-train-station/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> PisaMover</a> can take you from the airport to central Pisa where you can catch a quick train to Florence. Another option is the <a href="https://bus.caronnatour.com/en/home-en/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Caronna Bus Line </a>which runs every day of the year and takes about an hour. Rental cars from the airport are also an option. A taxi is not recommended due to high costs. Florence Airport (FLR) is the second busiest in the region and the closest to the venue. If arriving at Florence Airport, a taxi ride takes about 20 minutes to the city center. There is also a <a href="https://www.gestramvia.it/timetables/?lang=en" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">tram (Line 2)</a> that can take you from the airport to the city. Milan, Venice, and Rome are also all within a few hours train ride to Florence. Tickets can be purchased at <a href="https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Trenitalia</a> or at other websites. Shuttles will be provided to take guests from Florence to the venue. More information will be given at a later date.

Venue Shuttle Options

Shuttles will depart from Florence at 2:30pm and 4:00pm on Monday September 8th to take guests to our wedding venue. The meeting point for transportation to the venue will be Santa Maria Novella Square. This square is a 3 minute walk from the main train station in Florence. Shuttles will be waiting near the main entrance of the SMN church and the obelisk, near the Minerva hotel. Shuttles will return our guests back to the Santa Maria Novella Square on Thursday September 11th, departing by 9:30am.
