What time is the wedding?

Our wedding will begin promptly at 2:30 pm. We ask that you please arrive 15-30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to park, walk through a meadow to the ceremony, find a seat, and get settled before the ceremony begins. Once the ceremony is over, we will have yard games, dinner, and dancing!

How do I RSVP?

You can click the rsvp tab above! We cannot accept RSVPs via mail, phone, text or email. We ask that you please rsvp before September 15th.

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

If you don't rsvp before September 15th, it will be marked "no." We will miss celebrating with you, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the caterer in a timely manner and plan seating accordingly. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope you understand!

Where is the wedding?

The wedding and reception will each be held in a beautiful meadow at the Morton Farmhouse, 3380 Mebane Road, Oakland, TN 38060. There is a 5-10 minute walk between the ceremony and reception location. Golf carts will be provided for those needing assistance.

What happens if it rains?

If it rains, the ceremony and reception will be held at First Baptist Church Fisherville located at 11893 Macon Road, Eads, TN 38028. We will update the home page of this website with the church address the morning of the wedding if we determine relocating is necessary.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you were given a plus one, it will be noted under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children invited?

While we love your kiddos, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event. The only exception will be the little ones in our close family. Invited children will be noted under your name when you RSVP. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!

Is there a dress code?

The wedding party will be formal, and we would love to see everyone else dressed up too! However, do keep in mind the ceremony and reception will be outdoors and in grass (high heels are strongly discouraged). Some walking is expected, and we hope you are able to enjoy some yard games and dancing. Also, October temperatures can be unpredictable. Please check the forecast before planning your outfit, and dress accordingly.

I'm coming from out of town, where even is Oakland, TN and where should I stay?

Oakland, TN is a suburb outside of Memphis, TN. The wedding itself will be held at The Morton Farmhouse which is actually located just outside of Oakland but is still in close proximity to Memphis. If you are looking for hotels in town the closest places you will find will be in Arlington, Collierville, and Cordova; we've listed a majority of the hotels nearby under the travel section on our website and included some of the hotels that are in dowtown and midtown Memphis if you want to stay closer to the nightlife in town.

What is there to do nearby while I'm in Memphis?

If you have some time to kill, Memphis is a great city to have some fun and see some historic sites. The best places to go for nightlife are near midtown Memphis either at Overton Square or Cooper Young. We recommend checking out Railgarten, Aldos Pizza, Celtic Crossing, Lafayettes Music Room, and Memphis Pizza Cafe. If you are looking for some Memphis BBQ we recommend The Rendevous or Central BBQ downtown to get a great taste of the city. If you are looking for something closer to the wedding location, we recommend checking out Arlington, TN and going to the Kitchen Table, Brendalay Grill, or Rizzi's Pizzeria. If you are staying in Collierville, TN we recommend David Gristanti's on Main, Highlander Restaurant and Pub, and Lost Pizza Company. If you're looking for something to do we recommend checking out the Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid downtown (the observation deck at the top has breathtaking views of Memphis and the Mississippi River), the Big River Crossing downtown where you can walk across the Mississippi River, there is also Shelby Farms Park which has plenty of walking and hiking trails. If you are looking for a little bit of culture and history we recommend checking out Elvis' Home at Graceland and The Civil Rights Museum. Also you can visit the Peabody Hotel downtown where you can see the duck parade each day, even if you aren't staying at that hotel. There is also a Top Golf in town as well as Autobahn Electric go carts.
