We met via mutual friends in the spring of 2020. Due to the pandemic, the earliest "dates" were spent on FaceTime watching movies together. Eventually, we were finally able to meet in person and start our journey together.

Three years later, after moving in together and co-raising our two adorable cats, Calvin proposed surrounded by family and friends. We decided on a long engagement so Emily could finish her Master's degree without worrying about wedding planning, but we are so excited that the wait is coming to an end!
