Tyler and I met in a interesting way. I had just moved back from North Carolina. My grandma was a member of the Moose lodge and while going to the Yuba City Moose Lodge she worked in the kitchen a lot. While working in the kitchen she met the Dishwasher working there. They got to talking and one day my grandma asked if Tyler was Single. Tyler was hesitant to reply as he thought my grandma was asking for herself. Grandma noticed the look on his face and then responded no,no, no not for me, I was asking because I have a granddaughter moving back from North Carolina and I think you guys would make a cute couple. So when I returned my grandma came to me and said I have someone I would like you to meet. She then proceeded to tell me the story and I was hesitant at first but then trusted my grandmas words. First time I met Tyler was on a Wednesday night at the moose lodge. My grandma took me back to the kitchen to introduce the two of us. Our introduction went terrible I thought I was so nervous on what to say that I had started talking about the weather. I still had some hopes after our first meeting however and I had continued to go to the moose lodge with my grandma every chance I could so that I would be able to see Tyler and talk to him a little more. About two weeks after we met I decided to go ahead and give him my number. I waited by my phone all night that night hoping for a text. But nothing. I was so confused I thought we had a spark or something. I still continued to go to the moose lodge to see Tyler however and he still seemed interested which confused me so much. About a month later I finally got a text from Tyler he said he had lost my number that night I gave it to him and had just found it. So, we then started texting each other constantly. Next thing I know Tyler invited me to hangout with him for the first time. I went to hangout with him at one of his friends houses I was super nervous about hanging out with him since it was our first time hanging out and it was gonna be with his friends which I had never met. But it went great we spent the whole night just hanging out and getting to know one another more and I got to see how his friends were it was a great night. Month goes by and Tyler asks me to officially be his girlfriend he asked me while we were at my grandmas hanging out with some of my family. It was a beautiful scene as well we had a fire going and the sky was super clear that night so you could see like all the stars it was just beautiful. Next thing I know six years go goes and we buy a house together. And on our six year anniversary in our freshly bought house Tyler gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him.
