It started back in 5th grade when I sent a friend to go tell Emily that I liked her... I know it's cheesy but hey, it was 5th grade. After that it went back and forth, mainly for her. I would tell her I liked her and wanted to date her, and in return I'd get a "Ohhh that's nice". But when she finally said yes (...6 years later) I was so thrilled! The girl of my dreams had finally said she would date me! A month went by and she decided she didn't like me anymore, so that ended that... She sent me a random text a couple of months later, and the rest is history. We went on some more dates and I fell completely in love with her. Everything about her. Her love for Christ, her smile, her laugh, and obviously her gorgeousness. All of those still hold true today and there are more characteristics - but I don't have enough room to write them all down. Without her I'm not really sure where I'd be in life. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I'm blessed to have had her right by my side the past 4 years, and for the rest of my life!
I've known Dax (& his fam) for as long as I can remember. We attended the same church, and it was after several children's choir performances and church camps later, that I finally started to really notice his goofy self. I started crushing on him when I was told (via Dax's friend) that *he* had a crush on *me*. (Considering I was fresh out of the 6th grade, crushes were a BIG DEAL, and especially finding out someone was crushing on ME? MAJOR DEAL. ;) ) Of course my head kept me from being truly ready for an actual relationship until my senior year of high school - but that didn't stop Dax from trying to be something all of the years in between (it's pretty funny now to read back at all of his attempts via facebook messenger). We actually went on a date his freshman year of hs, but I was too shy and weirded out by the thought of being something, so once again I told him no...
We finally made it "officially official" at the beginning of our junior/senior years of high school and haven't stopped talking or making memories together since :) It's crazy to see just how far we've come since our awkward on & off "friendship" throughout the years... but now we've been dating for over 4, and it's been an amazing and wonderful time. He never fails to make me laugh, and is so supportive, forgiving, and encouraging. We are complete opposites (which is loads of fun, really!) and I love that he can bring out the best in me. So excited to have him by my side and do life together forever!!
