Ted and I met when I was bar-tending at the Rainbow Cafe in about 2004. We became friends over the years, and honestly I never would of thought we would of ended up together, as we always were involved with other people BUT.... His incredible smile, sincerity and ability to make me laugh every time I saw him, didn't help the odds, I just couldn't resist! One motorcycle ride in 2006, one hot summer night, that happened by complete chance, turned into to us never spending one day apart. I think I can speak for both of us, we knew that day we had something special, something that truly only comes around once in your lifetime. We were together for 8 long years before we got engaged.....maybe Ted was still undecided?? Ha..Ha...We started planning right away, but honestly life...and loss...seemed to alter our "plans". So one day this August, in conversation, we both said "what are we waiting for?" We then decided lets do it, lets go to the courthouse and make our love story official! I honestly couldn't wait another day to be called his wife! So on September 20th, 2019 we drove to the Mentor Court House and said our I do's in front of the judge, and our family!! That day was the best day so far in our 15 year journey, but we both agreed something was missing.....we wanted to celebrate FINALLY with all of you, all of you who have known us, loved us, supported us and watched us grow to the man and wife we have become today. We know we wouldn't be who we are today without all of you in our lives. Relationships are not easy, you have to work every day. You have to stick by and support each other through every step of the way. The happy times are easy, it's the times of great despair that will truly test your relationship. Ted and I have been through many up's and downs in our 15 years together, who hasn't in life....but we have committed our lives and relationship to always being patient with one another... to really make an effort.......to say "I love You" everyday and to promise to never let the other walk alone, any step along the way. We are so very excited to celebrate our marriage with all of you who have inspired us to become the couple we are today! We can not wait to see all of you in July, where in we will get the chance to re-share our personalized vows we made to each other, and finally have the celebration that has been a long time in the making!!!
