We are hosting a black-tie optional wedding, meaning suits and semi-formal wear. Tuxes, suits, formal dresses and cocktail dresses are welcome! As our bridal party will be wearing dark green, we highly encourage our guests to avoid wearing red or hunter green. We also ask that women refrain from wearing colors typically reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory or cream.

Yes, there will be a shuttle service available going to and from the Hyatt Place in downtown Champaign to Carmon's. The shuttle will be making continual trips from 10:00PM to 11:00PM, and is available at request from the front desk prior.

Yes! There is free parking at both spaces. However, if you book at the Hyatt Place Hotel you will be able to utilize the complimentary shuttle to and from the reception and enjoy your night without worrying about parking. We also highly recommend utilizing Lyfts or Ubers for the reception portion of the night if you are staying elsewhere.

For our Chicago area guests, we highly recommend traveling via car, train, or even bus. With the University campus traffic there are several options to a from these two Illinois hubs. The recommended hotel is within walking distance of the Champaign train station and bus station where several shuttles service. For any guests coming in from out of state, we suggest checking connecting flights into Champaign's airport, driving, or going to Chicago and taking one of the aforementioned connections down to Champaign-Urbana.

We have a hotel block set at the Hyatt Place Champaign, with a complimentary shuttle service for any guests staying in this block. We also have a hotel block at Hotel Royer, which is located in Downtown Urbana, only 10 minutes from the ceremony. Please see the 'Travel and Accommodation' tab for further information. We ask that guests take advantage of this block as soon as they are able to as there is a home football game at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign the same day as our wedding.

We were not able to accommodate children outside of the Ring Bearers and Flower Girl for our wedding day celebrations. We hope parents understand and take this evening as a chance for a date night with drinks and dancing! We do have child care we trust in the area, so please feel free to contact the bride or groom if you are interested in having someone locally watch your children.
