Just two people in their mid-20's using Bumble to socialize after a 3 year pandemic. It was December 2021, Emily was living in Philadelphia and Justin was in his new house in Springfield, PA. Emily came across Justin's profile that listed "Springfield, PA" but "travel mode" was set for Philly. She had never seen that before so she sent him the first message "what the heck is travel mode". Justin replied by saying "there were no girls in Springfield so I had to adjust my horizons to meet normal people".. they kept talking and he asked her on the first date!

She showed up to his house in Springfield (mostly to meet Tucker), with the plan of going to Saxer's down the road. They hopped in the car and drove up, little be known, Justin didn't look up the hours and failed to know they were closed on Monday nights. Embarrassed, he says "Nick's Roast Beef is down the street'. They had their first date over sloppy hot roast beef sandwiches and blue moons, and the rest is history!
