Emily and Brett met while students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in January of 2019. They would hangout almost every weekend and became very good friends. Brett finally decided to ask Emily on a "real date" in May of 2021 where they tasted wine at Bin 105, walked around the sunken gardens, and had dinner at Momo in Lincoln. They officially started dating after Brett took Emily bowling on July 1, 2021. After Brett graduated in May of 2022, he moved back to Omaha to begin his career. Brett and Emily did "medium distance" for a year while Emily continued managing and serving at Vincenzo's in Lincoln. Brett eventually convinced Emily to move to Omaha in the Fall of 2023. While on vacation, visiting Emily's family in Naples Florida in May of 2024, Brett proposed during a sunset walk on the beach, one of their favorite things to do together. Emily and Brett moved into their first apartment together in September of 2024.

Emily and Brett enjoy cooking new recipes, going for walks, and watching their favorite shows together. Emily and Brett have had so much fun planning their wedding and look forward to spending their special day with all of you!
