Nick proposed in the spot of our very first date, Starved Rock State Park. The day of the proposal was an extremely busy and crowded time at the park. Nick became increasingly anxious that he would not find a private spot to pop the question! Finally, we found a secluded place. Nick was so nervous forgot his entire "speech," but it was so perfect the way it was! We are excited to start our new lives together along with our grumpy cat, Dude.
