A summer in Chicago is not complete without a walk on the lakefront path! We do bike/runs here several times a week (except for when Chicago winter does not allow). The 18 trail can be entered at Randolph Street or the Riverwalk if coming from the hotel.
This is one of the last remaining FREE zoos in the U.S. and is a great spot to walk around and get skyline views while checking out the animals. The zoo is surrounded by parks which are great to walk around in. If you go, make sure to spot Emily and Josh's favorites- sea lions, gorillas and penguins.
Can you tell that we love parks? Millennium is famous for the Maggie Daley Ribbon, Pritzker pavilion and of course, the "bean." It's just a stone's throw away from the hotel.
