It all started back in high school during the COVID days — a weird time for everyone, but it brought us something pretty special: each other. We became best friends first, and before we knew it, we were spending all our time together. There wasn’t really an “official” first date — just a lot of laughing, late-night talks, and realizing life was way better when we were together.

After four years of adventures, cozy nights in, and stargazing whenever we get the chance, we’ve built a life full of laughter and love. Together, we’re playful, adventurous, and most of all — best friends.

The proposal couldn’t have been more “us.” While on a trip to the Virgin Islands, we walked to the end of a quiet beach, surrounded by turquoise water and white sand — and Colby popped the question. Emily had a little hope it might happen but still couldn’t believe it when it did!

One of our favorite family stories? The first night Colby met Emily’s brother, Harley showed off his new gun — and Colby still stayed! That’s when everyone knew he wasn’t going anywhere. These days, we share our home (and hearts) with our two dogs, who are basically our kids.

We can’t wait to start this next chapter — finally calling each other husband and wife, and continuing this adventure side by side. 💍
