Before I even met Ian, I first got to know his family during my senior year of high school. A little while later, in the winter of my freshman year of college, I finally met Ian himself. Something about that timing just felt right.

On Christmas Day, I decided to reach out to him — and not long after, he asked me on our very first date. From that day forward, we never looked back.
