Quinton and Emily met in 2019 while attending The University of Montana both studying Music Education. The two quickly became close friends and spent almost every day together that school year.

On March 21, 2020 Quinton asked Emily to be his girlfriend. The two spent the rest of the year learning to live during a pandemic, moving in together, and welcoming two dogs into their lives - June and Beau.

On June 6th, 2021 Quinton proposed to Emily and the rest is history!
