Matthew and I met at The Rock Golf Club on July 16th, 2022, in Waupun, WI, while celebrating a family friend's wedding. At the time, both of us were single, and neither one of us really had any intentions of looking for another but, thanks to a few ladies who were also attending the wedding that night, Matthew came up and asked if he could buy me a drink and before I knew it, we had exchanged numbers and agreed to meet up shortly thereafter.

After texting back and forth for some time, Matthew took me on our first date to Roadhouse Pizza and later, we spent some time at Knuth's Brewing Co. in Ripon. We both had a great time and were eager to see each other again soon. After a few more dates (and to my own surprise) Matthew asked me to be his girlfriend on August 3rd, 2022.

The year 2022 was a big one; Matthew continued at his full time job with AirCare and I was in my last semester of college, getting ready for Student Teaching with the Campbellsport School District. I owe this man credit for sticking with me through a very stressful time and even today as I continue to navigate my career in education.

Fast forward to September 1st, 2023, Matthew proposed - to say that I was surprised is an understatement which made it that much more special. A few months later, we had an opportunity to buy a house together and did just that. Now here we are planning a beautiful wedding and are looking forward to celebrating our love for one another with all of our friends and family in July of 2025.

Our meeting in the Summer of 2022 was purely unexpected in the best way possible. Little did we know that we both had found our forever that very night. Since then, our relationship has been nothing but natural, easy, honest, fun, and filled with so much love. We have never been more sure of anything in our lives and can’t wait to spend the rest of this beautiful life together.
