Wear what makes you feel most comfortable! Dressy casual is great. No renaissance festival wear expected, the wedding party will be in traditional wedding attire. But if you want to wear a kilt or dress up as an elf we welcome it!

There are a few kids that will be invited to the wedding as they are part of the wedding party. Otherwise this is a child free event. Refer to your RSVP to find out who from your family is invited to the event. Thank you for understanding!

The address for the event is MN Renaissance Festival Site (King’s Gate) 3525 145th St W Shakopee, MN 55379-8944. The parking is free at the King’s Gate and there will be signs to help guide you there.

You can RSVP here by clicking the RSVP button on the main page or going to the RSVP section of the website. Otherwise there is an RSVP card in your invite that states how many seats we have reserved for you. Please fill out how many people are attending from this number and then place the card into the pre stamped envelope. Write your name and address in the upper left hand corner of the envelope and then pop it in the mail.

The ceremony and reception are in the same location, so you won’t need to drive between events. Enter “King’s Gate, MN Renaissance Festival” into your GPS for the correct entrance—there will be signs to guide you. There is ample free parking on-site. Rideshare services (Lyft and Uber) operate in the area. Guests may leave cars overnight but must pick them up by 10:00 AM the following day; there are no security cameras, so overnight parking is at your own risk.
