Allie met Emily in high school Spanish class. Emily saw her boyfriend at the time talk to her, and she walked over to get to know her more. They realized how much they had in common, and have been close ever since. From all the softball games, nights in Amarillo, crying over boys, and living with her dog Lilo, they have been there for each other no matter what. Allie is the friend Emily depends on most, and she couldn't imagine anyone else standing the closest to her on her special day.

Kell and Landon actually met through his wife years ago in high school. When Laura was dating Kell, she invited him to youth group, and the two guys became friends. It wasn't until Landon got to UNT that their friendship became more like the brother Landon never had. They have lived together through both their college careers, even letting Landon be their Ted and live with him and his wife. The two are inseparable from snowboarding, mountain biking, and cars to just sitting together with a beer in the garage talking about life.

Laura could technically stand on both sides as both Emily and Landon have such close relationships to her. Landon became close to her through carpooling to PJC together. Their close friendship came through many car ride talks led to introducing Kell and Landon, which later led to many double dates between the two couples. Once Laura and Kell moved to Denton permanently, Emily and Laura started doing a lot together. From Target and lunch dates to just sitting on the porch talking about the boys, the two became like sisters, and Emily and Landon could not imagine their lives without them.

Lindsey may be her future sister-in-law, but the two have become close outside of Emily dating her brother. When Lindsey moved to Denton, Emily knew she wanted to get to know her better. After chatting over coffee and the love for working out, they both made a routine of being gym partners. Many post-leg day beer flights and brunch dates later, the two talked more than the siblings did. Emily could not be more excited to have Lindsey as her official big sister, and looks forward to having one of he best friends by her side.

Emily knew in her heart she was going to have a little brother one day, and even named him. While she was not the nicest to him growing up, the two became very close when he became a teenager that shared her dark sense of humor. Once she started dating Landon, Jacob and him bonded over their love of Sci-Fi + epic rap battles through history. Once all three lived up at UNT, Jacob would come over to hang out and make dinner together (what college kid wouldn't want a free meal???). Both Emily and Landon are so excited to have him up their for their special day.

Lauren is Emily's youngest sister. Emily has had a special bond with her when she held her in her arms for the first time. They both would sing Taylor Swift and Frozen at the top of their lungs in the car, and even being 9 years apart, they always have enjoyed spending time together. Lauren has always looked up to Emily for guidance, and Emily also tried to help Lauren learn from her mistakes. She is so proud of how Lauren as grown up, and can't wait to have her standing there (a lot taller) beside her.

Emily is actually the one who introduced Landon and Tommy. Emily knew Tommy from mutual friends growing up, but it wasn't until he commented on a tweet that they became great friends. Once she started dating Landon, she knew she had to introduce the two. Emily invited Tommy to study with them one afternoon, and the rest is history. He got Landon a job at O'Reiley's, and spent many a late night closing the store and playing jokes on each other. Many car meets, ski trips, and injuries later, Emily and Landon are excited to have him standing up there.

Amanda and Emily share a very close bond. When their parents got together, both hoped it meant they could officially be sisters. Especially during COVID, their relationship grew closer through many pizza and wine nights. Now, Emily & Amanda have a sisterly tradition of a wine tasting and dinner any time they are both in town, and they truly have become sisters. Emily cannot imagine not having he bonus sister by her side to welcome Landon officially into the family now as well.

Mary & Emily met at UNT in their business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. The two friends bonded over their love for indie alternative music, hiking, fitness, and cooking dinner together (with wine of course!). Emily really became close with Mary during the pandemic through facetiming, takeout, and long walks with her dog Baxter. They both have laughed and cried together, and sometimes even been a therapist. Emily & Landon are excited to have great friends like Mary and Ben, and are honored they are standing up with them on the wedding day.

As Mary started dating Ben, the girls knew Landon and Ben were going to be buddies. No surprise Landon really hit it off with them. Within a matter of two years, they have become some of their closet friends to lean on during to each of their best and worst times. Helps that their dogs are all best friends too! Landon & Ben have bonded over their love of cars, racing, and beating the girls at code names (they have the same brain!!!). The couple could not be more excited to have Ben stand up there on their special day!

Erik became one of Landon's good friends through Tommy & Emily. They all knew each other from Flower Mound, and knew Landon and Erik would get along great. They both share a love for mountain biking, snowboarding, and racing cars, which has led to some great adventures. One time in particular, the boys went riding, and Erik had to help Landon make a splint from sticks and tape in the woods to hobble Kell back to the car to see a doctor for his broken leg. Erik has a big heart that all their friends appreciate about him, and even though he can't be there in person, they feel so lucky to have him there in spirit.
