Emily and Cameron met at Shepherd Hill Regional High School in November of 2012 when Cam asked Em if she wanted to go ice skating. A few dates later Cam found the courage to ask Emily to be his girlfriend on December 23rd of 2012 while watching Finding Nemo. 10 years to the day of Cam asking Emily to be his girlfriend he finally came to his senses and got down on one knee in front of their Christmas tree, while 'Beast of Burden' (their favorite song) played in the background of the house they purchased together just 2 months before. While Cam waited on one knee to ask Emily the big question, he had to yell into the bathroom more than once to come out as she was taking her sweet time getting ready (per usual). Cam could barely muster up the words, but Emily didn't need to hear much as she knew this was the moment she had been looking forward to for years as well (she said yes). Since then, Emily and Cam have made their house a home with the addition of their dog (son) Puck. They are now looking forward to celebrating their big day with family and friends as they continue on the path to becoming old, wrinkly and successful with one another!
