Our Story

Love at last

Picture of Love at last

First off, I want to thank everyone for taking time out of your day to celebrate with us.

Back story Hussain and I met not too long ago at work (although time doesn’t mean anything to us). It seemed like not only dispatch wanted us to be together, but also the universe. Every time I would go back to get my paperwork and I mean EVERY TIME, there was Hussain. We didn’t even arrange it because at that point we hadn’t even said a word to each other. I didn’t make it out of dispatch once without Hussain somehow being brought up by them, but of course my stubborn self wanted nothing to do with those conversations. Little did I know they were doing the exact same thing to him.

One day I was out with my coworkers talking and here he comes walking up and the sun was glowing at the right time and caught his honey brown eyes, which caught my attention. This was the first time we had actually interacted with each other, and we found out that we were going to the Morgan Wallen concert on the same time and from there it was history.

The weekend had gone by and I was telling my coworkers how maybe I would give it a shot. Well that’s all they needed to hear and they absolutely ran with it, and am I so glad that they did. Don’t let him fool you though, he did not make the first move. I wouldn’t even say I made the first move. EVERYONE knows how super shy I am and there was no way I was about to approach him first but luckily the dispatch team is the opposite of shy and had my back and gave him my number. Dispatch had always talked about what a good guy he was but man were they off. He is way more than just a good guy, he’s the best guy.

I like to say that my mom knew i needed him and sent him to me because we started talking on the anniversary of her passing. So mom, thank you for sending me my best friend and the love of my life.
We met when i was at my lowest and after he said that he would never get married and well friends, here we are.

I could write a novel about our story but instead we would rather celebrate with you and you be apart of it,
