For those coming from abroad we recommend getting accommodation around Chania's old town or Nea Chora. There are many options depending on your budget including hotels, apartments and villas.

There have been some recent changes in legislation for Airbnb in Greece and so lots of property owners have moved to Booking.com or similar websites.

Nea Chora has some larger hotels and is nearer the beach where we will likely meet on the Sunday. The old town has a beautiful port and great restaurants, bars and shops. It is about a half an hour walk between the two areas if you walk along the seafront.
