When our dear friend, Darci Cloutier-Ham, introduced us. Emily met Darci through work, and Darci and Derek were in a band together. Darci has a talent as match-maker, and helped set the two up after Derek expressed interest in Emily (one of the rare perks of social media). The two finally met at one of the band's shows. How/where did we get engaged? In Phoenix, where we attended the Eric Clapton concert for Em's birthday. This was a dream concert for both of us, so everything just fell into place.
