Emily and Alec met just a little over a month after Emily moved to Florida. Emily was working at the front desk at Cora Physical Therapy at the Spanish Springs location and Alec was working as a PTA at the Mulberry location. Emily did training one day at the Mulberry Clinic where she first met Alec and then ran into him again at a new clinic opening a few weeks later. At the time Emily was going out every Monday with her co-worker Vilma after work to grab drinks. One night Vilma ran into Alec at Publix and after telling Emily about the encounter Emily suggested inviting Alec along to Monday night drinks. After a few after work drink nights together the three of them Vilma stopped showing up every time to make Emily and Alec hang out just the two of them. After that Emily and Alec then spent almost every evening together and officially started dating November 1, 2021 and have been inseparable ever since!
