Tim and Emily are both from the Syracuse area, Tim growing up in Camillus while Emily was a short distance away in Solvay. Tim and Emily were introduced by the technology Gods, Bumble! A popular dating app that has had more marriages come from it than any other dating platform. 


Shortly before they matched on Bumble, Emily's good friend Marissa mentioned Tim at one of their girls night dinners. Marissa went on to say how nice of a man Tim was, when she knew him from going to high school together at West Genny Highschool. Marissa suggested Emily add Tim on Facebook to initiate a conversation, but Emily said if it's meant to be we'll cross paths eventually. Not even a week later, Tim showed up on Emily's bumble. 


Tim wasted no time, and asked her out on a date to get drinks at a locally well known bar, Coleman's. He was such a gentleman, that Emily questioned whether or not he was genuinely this kind of a person. The two shared their first kiss in Coleman's parking lot when Tim walked her to her car. The next week, Tim took Emily out to dinner at Pastabilities. After their dinner, Tim took Emily up on the roof to see the downtown Syracuse skyline as the sun was setting. He was currently doing work on the building for Viau Construction and had the keys to the castle. 


From then on, the two spent the rest of summer and fall going on fishing dates, dinner dates, and adventures with their two dogs Tula and Tado. 


It didn't take long for them to both realize this was it, the person they'd both been waiting for. They began looking for houses in January of 2024 and this was when things really started to fall into place. In the midst of the crazy housing market, they managed to get an accepted offer on the house of their dreams. In a private neighborhood with a boat launch (perfect for their fishing adventures). They moved in April of 2024. 


Then in June of 2024, Tim took Emily on what she thought was another fishing date and asked her to be his wife. Of course she said yes!
