Our story began back in 2015. After graduating High School, we both began working part-time at Premier Communications. We continued to work part-time while Seth attended Dordt College and Emily attended Northwestern College. Unbeknownst to Seth, Emily made it known to her coworkers that she had a crush on him. Kim, a coworker of theirs, reached out to Seth on multiple occasions to pursue Emily.

Fast forward to 2019 after graduating college: Emily began working at Interstates, and Seth took a full-time position at Premier Communications. After a few months of working, Seth FINALLY decided to reach out to Emily on September 1, 2019! We continued getting to know more about each other. On September 7, we went on our first date to get ice cream at Blue Bunny in Le Mars. We went on a few more dates before we started “officially dating” on September 18th. Throughout our 3+ years of dating, we endured many adventures together, vacations with each other’s families, and countless rounds of disc golf together.

On July 1, 2023 Seth popped the question! We are so excited to begin this next adventure of our lives together and we can’t wait to celebrate with our family and close friends!
