Yes, as long as weather permits our ceremony will be outside and the 3 “retractable walls” will be up during the reception. However in the case of in-climate weather, the ceremony will be held inside of the pavilion and the sides will be kept down.
Can I bring a plus one?
While we would love to have everyone join us for our big day, we do have a capacity limit for our venue. Your invitation will include the names of those invited, and this will mirror the options you are given when you RSVP via our wedding website.
What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?
We ask that all guests arrive and are seated by 5:20 pm for our ceremony.
Can I leave my car overnight?
YES! Cedar Springs Pavilion allows overnight parking. All vehicles must be picked up by 11 am the next morning. We encourage all guests to make sure they have a safe ride home from the event. No booze cruisin.
What is the dress code?
We just ask that you wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Overall, we want everyone to stay comfortable and cool. We do kindly request that everyone’s bits and bobs are covered appropriately, so our grandparents don’t get flashed by people on the dance floor.
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
All of our RSVPs are digital (this helps Emily and her type A personality keep up to date and accurate records). We invite you to RSVP using this page and selecting the “RSVP” tab above.
Since the wedding is on a Friday, I cannot make it for the ceremony. Is it ok if I just come after to the reception?
Yes! We would love to have anyone invited join us for however much of the event they can attend.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Cedar Springs Pavilion ensures that all guests will be able to have an accommodating space.
What is the weather going to be like?
It is Ohio so your guess is as good as ours. Rest assured Emily and Adam both highly value comfort, so we will have contingency plans with the venue for all cases of weather.
Will there be an open bar?
We will have a bar stocked with beer, seltzer, and wine. Soda, water, and lemonade will also be available.
What food will be provided?
We will be having a Taco Bar with beef, chicken and veggies as options. Since Adam and Emily’s first official date to see the sunflowers in Yellow Springs was derailed (they were all dead) they had to quickly change plans to a local Mexican restaurant and movie night instead. It makes for a nice full circle moment.
