Our Wedding

Stephen and Emily first crossed paths at a concert in the fall of 2017. Just weeks removed from knee surgery to repair a torn ACL, Stephen made the trek to Philadelphia, against doctor’s orders, a decision that would change the course of his life. From the start, they discovered more in common than they ever expected. A shared love of music, sports, and adventure quickly connected them, all while their paths ran side by side through college — first at Middlesex, and later at Rutgers. Through a global lockdown, a canceled graduation, and the ups and downs of early adulthood, their relationship only grew stronger, laying the foundation for the life they are building together today. On December 14, 2024, Stephen proposed just before they headed to New York City to see Moulin Rouge. The show’s famous line — “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return” — could not have been more fitting for the moment. And on May 16, 2026, they will tie the knot at The Oyster Point in Red Bank, celebrating their greatest chapter yet — surrounded by their favorite people in the world. It will be a beautiful day to honor their love story, and the beginning of a lifetime of new memories together.

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception — the whole wedding — will take place here. All guests have the option to book a room, pending availability.

The sister hotel to the Oyster Point. Just a short drive up the road and within walking distance of the Oyster Point. Guests will have the option to book a room at the Molly Pitcher Inn if they wish to stay the night as well.
