It all started in high school when I invited her to help out with my weekly orchard chores. Little did I know that simple gesture would spark something that would change my life forever. Since then, we’ve grown up together, and I’ve fallen more in love with her every single day.

She’s been my biggest supporter and my toughest competitor, especially during workouts for our respective sports. She challenges me, inspires me, and has pushed me to become a better person in ways I never expected.

When college sent us to separate schools in different states, we made it work through countless hours on FaceTime. No matter the distance, we always found ways to stay connected. I’ll never forget the moment I surprised her with a proposal in Alabama—or when she surprised me back by coming home when I did not expect it.

I can’t wait to spend forever with her. Whatever surprises life has in store for us, I know they’ll be amazing because we’ll face them together.

Jordan and I first met in high school, where our love story truly began. Our first date was one I’ll never forget—apple picking at his house before either of us could even drive. It was simple, sweet, and the start of something extraordinary.

We were high school sweethearts and grew up together, creating memories that I’ll cherish forever. Over the years, we’ve shared countless adventures and special moments: summer beach days, post-workout ice cream runs (because Jordan trained with me for my soccer seasons), baking together, and playing competitive pickleball—where we love crushing family and friends as a team.

Some of my favorite memories include days spent at each of our cottages and long FaceTime calls during our time apart while long distance. Jordan made the long trip out to Iowa many times just to watch me play soccer, showing me over and over again how much he supports me.

Jordan proposed during a vacation in Alabama, on the beach. I had no idea what he had planned! (Although now I understand why he insisted I not wear my Max-from-the-Grinch shirt that day.) It was the perfect moment—beautiful, heartfelt, and so “us.”

From apple picking to this incredible journey we’re on now, I can’t wait for the next chapter of our story together.
