2018: Jared and Emily start working at the Baptist Health Floyd Hospital doing patient transport. Emily saw Jared first but never in a million years thought that he would become such an important person in her life. Over the course of this year, Jared and Emily became good friends playing PUBG mobile together. Before they knew it, they were best friends and that friendship brought them closer together.

October 12th, 2019: Jared and Emily went one their first date. They went bowling. Emily was freaking out all day not knowing if this was just a friendship hang out or an actual date. It was later confirmed to be a date. After this our story hits a lull. Jared got cold feet and they put their feelings on hold but continued to stay best friends.

April 8th, 2020: Emily gets a message from Jared asking her to be his girlfriend. They instantly clicked and Jared immediately stepped up to be a father figure in Emily's young daughters life. They met each others families and instantly became a part of them.

August 10th, 2022: While on vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Jared and Emily were about to head to the strip for the their last day of vacation. Emily had already walked off the porch and unbeknownst to her, Jared was on the porch setting up to ask Emily to marry him. He hollers for Emily saying, "Hey Em, can you come help me with this lock? I can't get it." As Emily walks up the steps to help, she turns her head and there was Jared down on one knee and asks Emily to marry him.

And the rest is history!
