We recommend you book flights at least 6 months in advance. Where you fly into depends on your overall plans! Leeds-Bradford is the local airport and Manchester Airport is also fairly close, but will take a bit more planning to get to Ilkley. If you are planning to stay in London at any point during your trip, Heathrow Airport is the main airport in London and is well-served by many affordable flights. You can get a train from London to pretty much anywhere in the country. For those renting a car, Manchester Airport is approximately a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Ilkley or Leeds. Alternatively, there is a train that runs directly from Manchester Airport to Leeds Train Station. From Leeds Train Station, there are local trains to Ilkley and other places, such as Skipton, or there are taxis available.

The Leeds Airport is approximately a 20 minute drive to Ilkley. You can rent a car, hail a taxi or better yet, be met by us to take you where you need to go!

While you may wish to have access to a car if traveling to other places outside of the wedding, Ilkley is a small town and most places are accessible on foot. There are also local trains that run to Leeds. We recommend you download the Trainline app to your phone to book trains. Leeds itself is a smaller and pedestrian-friendly city where driving is not necessary.

We suggest booking a taxi to and from the venue ahead of time. The wedding will come to a close by 1:00 am. If you are driving to the Tithe Barn, there is plenty of parking. Cars can be left over night and picked up by 10:00 am. The section 'Travel on the Wedding Day' is dedicated to taxi companies in the area.
