We met on a party bus in January of 2018. Joel claims Emily forced him into buying her a drink-- Emily knows she needed to make the first move so she politely asked if Joel was going to buy her one.. He bought the drinks and we've been together ever since!

We moved in together in 2020. After renting for several years, we bought our first house in 2023. January 13, 2023 was a big day as we closed on our first house as well as got engaged!

Our family wouldn't be complete without our four-legged crew. Before we met, Joel had Koda and Emily had Melly. We decided to blend our furry families, and in April 2023, Joel somehow convinced Emily that they needed one more. Enter Oliver- the newest addition to our pack.

The years have been full of lots of ups and downs, but we've learned to lean on each other and become stronger for it. We can't wait to be husband and wife come September 2024!
