Our story has a unique beginning! Though we were both studying at the University of Cincinnati at the time, we actually met & spoke for the first time overseas, in Greece!

Connor, being a classics major who's studied Latin & Greek for so many years of his life, was in Heaven on Earth.

He fell in love with the Parthenon...

...while she was having fun watching him shotgun Skyline Chili (couldn't go more than 7 days without it)

Connor shared many Socrates quotes, and we exchanged some laughs while we enjoyed our trip with friends. After the trip, we remained acquaintances from afar

Connor self-published his book, 'Every Day Lessons From Everyday People,' in November of 2019. This photo was taken by Connor on the front steps of Sigma Chi, the day Emily came to pick up her copy.

We both got busy graduating, trying to figure out adulthood, and pursuing a life with Jesus...

and then, in February of 2022, Emily posted on social media and made an announcement that she had closed on her own house. Connor thought to himself "hmmm, this hot lady must be single now," and proceeded to do the only thing he knew how...

Our first official date was at Crossroads Church on March 13th, 2022! This photo was taken a few weeks later

On March 26th, 2022, we were officially bf/gf status. We think Connor asked "Will you be my girlfriend?" and "What's your ring size?" approximately 5 seconds apart.

Since that time, we've been to MANY Bearcat games...

Gone on LOTS of walks...

got Connor baptized! (as an adult)

and went on one EPIC roadtrip from Cincinnati, to Horseshoe Bend (AZ)...

...to the Grand Canyon...

...to Lake Powell...

...to Arches National Park in Utah...

...all the way to Los Angeles...

...to Nebraska, Colorado, and all the way back home

A few short weeks later, on December 18th, 2022, Connor proposed in the same spot where we went on our first date. (Fun fact: God gave Connor the proposal date in a dream.)

We toured our first and only wedding venue the day after Christmas, like the crazy wedding planners we now are.

& Now we're just counting down the days, reflecting on God's goodness in writing our story, and looking forward to celebrating our new marriage with all of you. Thanks for being here, we love you!
