Emily was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and grew up in Tampa, Florida. She went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Florida State University. After graduation, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where she completed her Masters and became a Nurse Practitioner working as a Hospitalist at UT Medical Center.

Michael was born in Brevard, County Florida. He grew up fishing, riding motorcycles, and participating in action sports. He moved to Seymour, Tennessee where he finished his high school years. He joined the Military in 2015 and received Congressional Recognition for his service. Afterward, he went on to join the automotive industry and be closer to one of his favorite hobbies.

The two met in January 2022 and have been inseparable ever since. They both enjoy snowboarding, motorsports, traveling and their two pups Leo and Finley.
