Zach and Emily met on a dating app. Emily liked that Zach had a story about eating cheese in France, and Zach liked that Emily had a crazy story about getting lost in the Netherlands. After a first date of dinner and a movie, they were inseperable.

Zach and Emily were on vacation in Hawaii. On Christmas Eve, they drove up to the Visitor Center on Mauna Kea. On the way back down, Zach pulled off to a scenic look out. Emily ran out to the edge to see the amazing views. When asked to take a picutre, Zach said he had a question to ask her first.

First and foremost, it was the only date the zoo had available. However, there is a reason that date was waiting for us. Zach's birthday is July 5. Exactly one week later is Emily's birthday. Exactly one week later will be our anniversary.
