Grab a coffee from Buddy Brew or Sorrtento and walk through Historic Hyde Park past the old homes down to Bayshore Boulevard, the famous waterfront street where the Gasparilla parade is held every year. We recommend walking down any of the streets from Dakota to Newport to get to Bayshore

Rent an eboat and ride down the river. No boater's license required!

Get an early start and drive about 35-40 minutes to one of our favorite beaches in the area! Beach restoration may be in progress in October. If so St. Pete Beach is an alternative just north. We recommend posting up by the famous Don Cesar hotel
