Jerry and Nari Adams became parents to Emma on January 24th, 2002. Jerry is nurse at a local hospital and Nari is a fourth grade teacher.

Bryan and Shawna Walker became parents to Brendon on February 22nd, 2001. Bryan is the general manager of American Welding and Gas in Springfield and Shawna is a school nurse.

Alisa and Emma met each other in Genetics Lecture at Missouri State University. Alisa is thoughtful, kind, and an incredibly fun person to be around. Alisa and Emma both push each other to be the best versions of themselves, whether it’s in academics or physical fitness. She is exactly the kind of friend you want to have in your corner. She is silly and entertaining, but tell you exactly what you need to hear. After Alisa completes her bachelor’s degree at Missouri State, she will be attending Southern Baptist University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Trish and Emma met at Missouri State University during General Biology II lab. Trish is an intelligent, loyal, and amiable woman. She is also an international student all the way from Nepal!

Kayla and Emma met each other while attending Women in STEM club meetings at Missouri State University. Kayla is considerate, fun-loving, fearless, and shows incredible leadership. She is a great listener and supporter of her friends.

Kirklyn and Emma met through Brendon, who works with Kirklyn at AWG. Kirklyn is sharp, witty, and fun. She has a love for animals and enjoys hunting. If you're ever in trouble and need help, Kirklyn will be there for you in a heartbeat!

Shotwell and Brendon became best friends in elementary school and have been great friends since then. He is trustworthy, thoughtful, and a nice person to be around. One of Brendon’s favorite memories with Shotwell is when the Walker family invited him to join on a cruise and Shotwell danced in front of everyone at dinner.

Brandon and Brendon became work friends while working at American Welding and Gas together. Brandon is a good motivator and very welcoming to friends and family.

Josiah and B met each other while working at Chick-fil-A. Josiah is personable, funny, and a reliable friend.

Cooper and Brendon became quick friends while working together at Zaxby’s. Cooper is kind, generous, and competitive.
