Nathan was a police officer and Emma was a new firefighter in their small town. Nathan and Emma first met on a call they had worked together. Nathan and Emma instantly became the best of friends. As a year passed, Emma and Nathan became closer and started dating. Emma grew to love him and his little boys, Waylon and Braylon. Two months down the road after dating, Nathan asked Emma to be his wife and become apart of his family. Later on, Emma and Nathan had a daughter of their own named Stevie.
