Our story starts in mid August, 2023! After we initially connected through a dating app, we quickly became interested in knowing each other more.

After talking for a few weeks and going on our first few dates at Mondo's Italian and Hop the Griffin in Tulsa, we both knew there was a connection and the potential for something special. We had to keep seeing each other.

After a couple more weeks, on September 6, 2023, we officially became a couple! We were inseparable from then on, apart from one of us living at New Life Ranch in Adair, OK, and the other living in Tulsa.

While living over an hour apart, we stayed intentional about seeing each other at least a few times a week, whether that was through going on dates, attending church/small group together, or doing our Saturday morning bible study. We wanted to cultivate our relationships with God, as we also grew closer to one another.

Throughout the first several months of dating, we met each others' families, spent some holidays together, and learned so much about one another. It didn't take long to know we had both fallen in love.

As the months continued on, we grew more and more confident in our love for each other. Through a fun road trip to see friends in Colorado, walking through the craziness of Summer Camp together, and Hunter getting a new job and moving to Edmond, OK, the relationship was tested. With God's help, intentional communication, and time together, we experienced more emotional intimacy and connection than before.

On September 8, 2024, Hunter started his new job at Life.Church in Edmond. While that next step was cause for celebration, something even greater occurred a few days before, on September 6.

On this day, being our 1 year anniversary, we got engaged! We went out for dinner at Mondo's Italian again, and after, we made our way to LaFortune Park. This is Emma's favorite park! After enjoying a peaceful picnic and delicious dessert, Hunter proposed and the celebration commenced with close family and friends!

We're so excited for this next chapter of life together, and we're grateful for all the people who have encouraged and supported us along the way. We can't wait to celebrate God's faithfulness and our love for each other with all our friends and family. Glory to the Lord for his goodness and love!
