It all started at a New Years Eve party in Madison, WI. Emma was a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin and Isaac was in town visiting friends. The two ended up at the same basement party when they hit it off as beer pong partners. Unfortunately, after a series of adventures, including jumping fences and someone (not Emma) nearly mistaking a closet for a bathroom, the two went their separate ways, casually running into each other thanks to those same mutual friends, but never rekindling that original spark.

Fast forward 5 years, and Emma and Isaac are both living in the Milwaukee area. Isaac had a camping trip planned in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, and Emma was yet again invited through a mutual friend. After a weekend of hiking, campfires, and nearly dying while kayaking on Lake Superior, Isaac reached out to Emma to see if she'd be interested in going to a beer garden back in Milwaukee, and they’ve been inseparable ever since!
