Luke and Emma first met in high school—same town, same classes, and even went to Winter Formal their senior year together... just as friends (though there may have been some secret crush vibes). Life took them in different directions after graduation, but a few years later, they reconnected, and everything just clicked. They started dating, and the rest is history. Since then, they’ve built a life full of laughter, spontaneous weekend trips, and cozy nights in with their dog, Finn, who’s truly the star of the show. In December 2024, on a trip to Zion National Park, Luke popped the question in their new favorite place—and Emma said yes! Now, they’re so excited to celebrate their next chapter together with all of you.

One of our favorite local hangouts is American Fifth, a cozy micro-distillery in town known for its small-batch spirits and craft cocktails. It’s our go-to for date nights, catching up with friends, or just treating ourselves to a really good drink. Luke’s favorite? The Old FashionedEmma’s go-to? The Sidecar If you're looking for a great place to grab a cocktail while you're in town, this one’s at the top of our list.

American Fifth

If the weather’s nice while you’re in town, we highly recommend a walk through Woldumar Nature Center—it’s peaceful, scenic, and hands-down Finn’s favorite place to explore. With winding trails through woods and along the river, it’s the perfect spot to stretch your legs, take in some fresh air, and maybe even spot a deer or two. It’s one of those little local gems we always come back to. Whether you’re up for a light hike or just want to enjoy the nature vibes, Woldumar is worth the visit.

If youre looking for a great place to grab a bite while youre in town, Cask & Co is our favorite spot. It’s relaxed, fun, and has something for everyone—from burgers and sushi to wood-fired pizzas and wings. Luke’s favorite? The Spartan Burger Emma’s go-to? The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl Whether youre in the mood for comfort food, craft cocktails, or just a chill dinner out, you really can’t go wrong here.
