Before the Big Weekend
HOW DO I RSVP TO THE EVENT?
Your formal invitation will be sent closer to the big day and will include a physical, pre-stamped RSVP card. Please kindly fill it out and mail it back to us at your earliest convenience, but no later than September 15, 2024.
DO I HAVE TO PRE-SELECT MY MEAL WHEN I RSVP?
No need! You'll be able to select the entrée you're in the mood for during the reception.
SHOULD I RENT A CAR FOR THE WEEKEND?
Up to you! There is a ton to see and do in the area (reference the "Things to Do" tab), so if you want to bop around you may want a car. That said, there are plenty of Ubers in the area, and we'll be providing transportation from the Westchester Marriott and the Sheraton for the wedding festivities.
HOW WILL WEATHER PLAY A PART IN THE WEEKEND?
We are crossing our fingers and toes that it's a beautiful, October weekend in the Hudson Valley, but the ceremony and reception are both indoors.
HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR REGISTRY?
Thank you for your generosity! Please see the "Registry" tab above.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
As much as we love your little ones dearly, the weekend will be adults-only with the exception of our ring bearers and flower girl.
DURING THE BIG WEEKEND
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEEKEND?
If you're in town on Thursday, October 24 and would like to join us for a festive nightcap before the big day, please feel free to come as you are!
The wedding reception is Formal. We'd prefer men to be in a suit & tie and women to wear midi to floor-length dresses.
IS THERE ANYTHING TO KNOW FOR THE CHURCH CEREMONY?
Our Catholic faith is very important to us! We will be making our fifth sacrament (out of seven) so this day holds an even more special place in our lives as a couple and as Catholics. We will be celebrating a full mass (about an hour).
WILL THERE BE A CHANCE FOR PHOTOS?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the church ceremony. There will be plenty of photo opportunities after the mass and during the reception!
WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH OUR FREE TIME BEFORE OR AFTER THE WEDDING?
The Hudson Valley is a beautiful area that we have enjoyed exploring and are eager for you all to explore, especially during the most quintessential time of year there. We have compiled quite the list on our "Things To Do" page above. From restaurant recommendations to tourist sites and everything in between, we have you covered!
How should I get to and from the wedding?
We will be providing transportation from the Marriott and Sheraton to the church, from the church to the venue, and from the venue back to the hotel.
For those who would like to drive themselves, there will be valet at the venue. Please allow a little extra time to find parking around the church as it's a busy time of year in the Sleepy Hollow area.
