Our Wedding

In the Summer of 2021, on a Sunday afternoon, Jordan was working and Emma was taken out for a day of fun to Jordan’s restaurant. As Emma was talking to her friends, Jordan overheard she possibly was single. He crawled over the bar at Crawdads on the River and said, “Oh so you’re single? Hi, I’m Jordan.” A few weeks later, on their first date, Jordan took Emma to dinner, to meet his brother, and to his neighborhood bar where they shared their first kiss in the parking lot before going in. Within the first 3 months, they knew. They knew this was different than anything they had ever known. At 6 months, they took a 10-day international trip to Ireland with his brother and his (now) wife. If you can travel together, you can do anything together. To test their limits, once a month for the next year they traveled. Between one and three nights a month, Jordan and Emma traveled up and down the West Coast. Being that Emma was a single mom to Hayden, the quality time they intentionally created was the best for them. Prioritizing a healthy relationship was #1 on their to do list. Over the last 4+ years, the soon-to-be Forrest’s have traveled in 4 countries, 5 states, and 25+ cities. Traveling, good food, and some sort of a flavored kamikaze (both good and bad!) is all they needed in order to make things work. From a joke early on about getting married on 11/11, to now actually doing it ~ they cannot wait to make the ultimate wish and wish for a long and healthy life together.

For family attending ceremony, we will be parking in the Crawdads Parking lot, and carpooling down Garden Hwy, as there is limited parking at the site. We will be reaching out to let you know when and who will be driving you as the day gets closer.
