We highly recommend staying in Varenna, Lombardia (the town where the wedding is located). Varenna is a beautiful town that is centrally located on Lake Como and offers easy access to the train and ferry. The ferries stop running at night and taxis can be unreliable so it will be important to stay walking distance to our venue. Varenna is a small town so anywhere in Varenna should be walking distance to Villa Cipressi. There are plenty of good AirBnb, Vrbo, and Hotel options in the town that accommodate a range of budgets. We recommend spending a minimum of 3 days in Lake como. The first day you arrive in Italy will likely be used as a rest day from traveling and to adjust to the time difference. There will be wedding activities on July 1st and 2nd. We also recommend taking at least 1-2 days to explore and enjoy all that Lake Como has to offer. The Travel section of the website has a suggested itinerary.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Please keep in mind that the weather will likely be hot. Ladies - our venue grounds are gravel so keep that in mind when choosing footwear.
