Our Wedding

We met at a pool party the summer before ninth grade with an intense water gun fight being our first interaction. We officially started dating on Emma’s sixteenth birthday and dated throughout high school. We went to separate colleges, but continued our relationship thanks to many trips in Ian’s Jeep and Greyhound buses. After graduation, we supported each other through medical school and teaching in Philadelphia, PA. Just to make things a little more interesting, we added our Australian Shepherd, Gibson (Gibby), to the family and are now enjoying the start to our new chapter in Athens, GA.

Train Station

There is a train station immediately in the center of downtown Southern Pines (0.8 miles from venue). It is serviced by the Silver Service/Palmetto Amtrak and can be reached from various stations within: New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Alexandria, Richmond, Charleston and many more!

There are plenty of amazing airbnbs still available the weekend of our wedding! The majority of which are located downtown. The venue is walking distance from downtown and many of the homes have lots of charm!

The Jefferson Inn &amp; 1901 Lounge is a fourteen room, 100+ year-old landmark Inn with a beautiful speakeasy specializing in craft cocktails, located in the heart of the Downtown Southern Pines Historic District. 0.7 Miles from Venue (2 min Drive, 17 min walk) We don't have any rooms blocked here as it is a boutique hotel with 14 rooms. Many of which are booked. Prices seem to be $150-200 per night.
