We would appreciate it if you would RSVP by March 1st, 2024. This will give us sufficient time to invite additional guests should you be unable to make it to our wedding.

While the ceremony doesn't begin until 5:30, the venue doors open at 5pm. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the ceremony so we can ensure everyone has a seat when it's time to start!

There is a parking garage just behind the venue, and plenty of street parking along Grand Ave and the surrounding blocks. Please refer to the Travel page for more information.

VOWS is a micro-wedding venue. This means the ceremony and reception happen in the same room! Walk with us to the Des Moines river so we can capture portraits of you and your date while our extremely helpful coordinators 'flip the room' for us to enjoy the next part of our day.

We ask that our guests dress in semi-formal attire with black or summer colors.

Please refrain from taking photos during our time at VOWS. We have hired professional photographers for reason - so you can enjoy this momentous occasion with us AND get some wonderful photos!
