Can I bring a plus one?
There will be no 'plus one' guests; all guests invited have been specifically named on invitation envelopes and are also indicated in the RSVP form. Unfortunately, no other accommodations will be made.
Can I bring my children?
On this occasion, we are asking you to leave the kids at home. Think of it as a date night for the adults! Take this time to enjoy each other's company, kid-free.
What is the dress code?
Formal. A suit or a dress is perfect! Please, no jeans.
Is there an open bar?
There will be a selection of beer, wine, and seltzer available for guests free of charge. Please be responsible and organize a ride to/from the reception if you will be drinking.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is a large grass lot available for guests to park. Parking attendants will be present for assistance. There is also a cement landing for those who need wheelchair/walker access.
What kind of food will there be?
Cocktail hour is a large grazing table of hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be a buffet catered by Lakeland BBQ. Dessert consists of various pastries made by Alessi Bakery.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive no later than 3pm. This allows guests to park and settle in. The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm sharp. If you arrive late (after 3:30 when doors close), you will miss the ceremony.
What is on the registry?
We are fortunate enough to have everything we need. In lieu of material items, consider gifting money towards our travel dreams or our future home. The funds for both of these can be found under our 'registry' tab. Cards are also welcome; they can be placed in our gift box (handmade special by Skip Glover 😊).
Is the Venue indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony will be held outside. This area is made of both grass and sidewalk. The reception is inside with A/C.
Is there a room block available?
There is a room block reserved at the Hampton Inn Plant City; the link to reserve can be found in the 'Travel' tab. The last date to book under our block is 10/09 at midnight. If the room block becomes full, there are plenty of hotels available nearby (without room blocks).
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than September 21st. Your RSVP can be completed under the 'RSVP' tab or the RSVP button on the home page. If you neglect to RSVP by the deadline, it will be assumed you have declined invitation as the vendors need a final headcount shortly after the deadline. You will be missed!
How does the seating work?
The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you prefer; however, please respect any 'reserved' signs on seats. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know. The seating chart will be found on the back of guest's programs on wedding day.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, guests will attend cocktail hour which is held both inside and outside. At cocktail hour, guests can enjoy our charcuterie style grazing table and drinks from the bar. Immediate family and the bridal party will begin pictures.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Consider this an 'unplugged ceremony' - we love our photographer, and so will you! Please keep devices away for the duration of the ceremony; phones just make our photographer's job harder. Personal photos are more than welcome during cocktail hour and the reception. Thank you for understanding.
