Nate and Emma's story began when they met through the college ministry Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Ole Miss. Emma remembers them both being in a small group together at RUF Fall Conference when Nate was a freshman and she was a sophomore, while Nate claims they technically met later that year at RUF Winter Conference playing the game Codenames. Whichever way they choose to remember, Nate and Emma became better friends in the fall of 2023 as they hung out with friends at movie and game nights. Before they started dating, Emma and Nate enjoyed many adventures, including attending Tri Delta date parties and storming the field together at the LSU football game. After a friend-group movie night watching Friday the 13th on Friday, October 13th, Nate asked Emma out on their first date—dinner at El Agave!&nbsp; On June 2, 2025, Nate proposed to Emma in Massa Lubrense, Italy, after a year and a half of dating, and they are excited to glorify the Lord through their friendship and love as they do life together! They cannot wait to see you on December 14, 2025, as they celebrate the covenant of marriage!
