Kari and Emma met when they were 5 years old cheerleading for the Bulldogs organization in State College, PA.  Throughout the years we have remained very close, visiting each other at college (Penn State and Rutgers), endless phone calls, beach trips, and concerts.  We are always making memories together!   Kari has always supported me and I am so thankful we were able to grow up together.  We were even roommates for two years (2021-2023) in Pittsburgh!  Kari is basically my sister and I wouldn't want anyone else standing by my side as my maid of honor!

Alissa is Emma’s sister-in-law!  I consider her to be my older sister as she has been a part of many life events.  One memory I will always cherish is when Alissa came over to check on me after I had ankle surgery.  Although she may not have been prepared to wash my hair that day, she made it a very funny, memorable event!  My hair hadn’t been washed for at least a week, lol.  I know Alissa will always have my back no matter what.  She is also the wonderful mother to our ring bearer Emmett Karas!  We are so excited for her to be a part of our wedding day!

Meghan is Emma's cousin!  We grew up together and have always picked up right where we left off like no time has passed.  Meghan and I talked about it for years and finally got matching elephant tattoos in honor of our Aunt Janet.  We are now fortunate to be carpool buddies into work each morning and I cherish that time together.  I know Meghan will always be there for me through thick and thin and I am grateful to have Meghan be a part of our special day!

Carly is Emma's cousin!  Growing up, everyone told us we could pass as sisters and as time has progressed that is still a very true statement!  Carly is always there for me and ready to have a good time!  My favorite memory was when I was living in Pittsburgh for my internship in 2019 and Carly and I would go out dancing!  Make sure to catch her out on the dance floor at the wedding!  We’re so excited to have Carly be a part of our wedding day!

Carsyn is Emma's very close childhood friend!  We met through the Bulldogs organization and quickly became inseparable.  Some favorite memories with Carsyn was when we played dress-up together, donated our long hair together, and put up with older brothers together!  To this day, Carsyn has always been there for me.  She is even the best make-up artist I know!  I am so grateful she is going to be a part of our special day!

Alli and Emma met at Nittany Gymnastics in State College, PA!  We literally grew up together in the gym.  We were carpool buddies and then Alli was gracious enough to ride me to the gym when I didn't have a license yet in high school, lol.  Alli and I were inseparable and we grew close throughout our high school years, always having sleepovers, practices and competitions together!  We also had tons of adventures outside of the gym like tubing at Raystown Lake!  I am so grateful to have Alli be a part of our special day!

Julia and Emma met when they started their corporate careers in 2020 at WTW.  We both lived in the same apartment complex in Mount Laurel, NJ.  Although we no longer work together, we have continued to stay in touch by talking almost everyday!  Some special memories I have with Julia is when we visited her and Dylan in Colorado.  We’re so happy that Julia is a part of our wedding day!

Emmett is our fun loving nephew! His parents are Alissa and Adam Karas. He shares a birthday with Thomas and Ryan Hannon and is an honorary groomsman!

The Duquesne incline is one of our favorite date spots! When you get to the top there are restaurants/bars with views of the city! Fun fact: we celebrated our 3rd anniversary at Altius!

The strip district is a favorite in our house! We love to visit the “original” Primantis restaurant. If you are looking for a brunch spot - Cafe Raymond is our go to! It is a fun place to walk around and fully embrace the Pittsburgh “yinzer” culture. There are a ton of shopping places as well!

Of course we can’t forget about our favorite town Lawrenceville!! This is a special place in our hearts as this is the town we met and spent the first two years of our relationship together, and where we got engaged! We love going for a walk in the Allegheny Cemetery and enjoying the restaurants Lawrenceville has to offer. Walter's, Industry Public House and Stinky’s (don’t judge until you try it!) are a few of our favorite places to eat.

Enjoy a drink and some games at Coop De Ville!! There are tons of arcade games perfect for any age! Fun fact: we got our engagement pictures done on the rooftop parking garage directly above Coop De Ville!
