Our Wedding

Our Story

Our story began in the most everyday place... Spill the Beans, downtown Greenville. One of our favorite, cozy little coffee shops. I got there first, settled in with my drink, and a few minutes later, he walked in. He came right up to me and joined me. I thought we’d chat for a few minutes, maybe finish our coffees, and go on with the day. Instead, five hours disappeared in what felt like five minutes. We talked about everything and nothing, travel stories, childhood memories, the best foods, the worst TV shows, favorite colors, and all the little things. From that moment on, our “quick coffee” somehow turned into us spending nearly all our time together. One spontaneous conversation stretched into shared routines, inside jokes, weekend plans, and a life built together. Looking back, it’s funny how something so simple started everything. A coffee, a hello, and now here we are, beginning our most exciting chapter yet. We’re so excited to celebrate this next step with all the friends and family who have supported, laughed with, and loved us along the way.

Rachael is my best friend and the definition of an everyday constant in my life. From our waitressing days to summers spent at the lake and countless pool days, she’s been there through every season and every laugh.

I met Gabe in college and he became my roommate after John. We went through many life experiences together and now he is a submarine officer in the Navy.

Laura is my future sister-in-law and Daniel’s amazing big sister. She’s thoughtful, welcoming, and always ready with a great book recommendation. I’m so excited to have her as family officially and to have her standing with us on this special day.

Jackson is my future brother-in-law and EK's older brother. He is a fellow Eagle Scout and bourbon enjoyer and is always eager to chat.

Kathryn is my sister-in-law and Jackson’s wonderful wife. She has been such a welcoming and steady part of our family, and I’m so grateful for the kindness, support, and fun she brings to every gathering.

Eric started at Lockheed Martin at the same time as me after college and we quickly became friends. He has since moved away from Greenville after taking a job in Georgia, but he still comes by to visit.
