River Street is just a short walk from the hotels. River Street Candy, Vics on the River, Plant Riverside District Museum, and a lot of unique Southern shops and restaurants, especially towards the West end of the street will give you plenty of options to do for the day.

Broughton Street is a couple blocks South of River Street, but Broughton Street will have more clothing stores and local boutiques. There are still plenty of restaurant and desert options here, as well.
